The Washington Commanders will be down a wide receiver for the rest of their game against the New York Giants as Curtis Samuel has been ejected. Quarterback Sam Howell was scrambling to the endzone and ended up taking a hard hit out of bounds. Samuel and his Commanders took exception and started a shoving match. When the dust settled, Samuel and Xavier McKinney of the Giants were ejected.
Curtis Samuel and Xavier McKinney have both been ejected from the game for their parts of the team fight that just took place after Howell took a late shot.

The #Giants are down two safeties and a CB at this point.
Washington’s offense is in a weird place. It came into today with quarterback Sam Howell leading the league in passing yards, but the overall team has a 4-6 record. Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson lead the pass-catchers, but Samuel had a defined role to play in the slot. He will finish this game, bringing in one of his two targets for five yards. With Samuel no longer able to play, Washington will likely turn to Dyami Brown and Byron Pringle for increased targets to open up the offense.
Washington trails New York 14-9 at halftime.
