Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell has entered the medical tent late in the second quarter of their Week 11 matchup against the New York Giants.

Update: Howell has returned to the game. He will be down wide receiver Curtis Samuel, who was ejected from the game following the skirmish.
Howell took a shot during a touchdown run late in the first half and was down on the sidelines while a skirmish broke out between Commanders and Giants players. He eventually got up and walked back to his own sideline, but immediately went to the medical tent to be evaluated. Backup Jacoby Brissett was seen warming up.
