D’Onta Foreman injury updates
Update: Foreman wasn’t able to return to the game with his ankle injury. The Bears don’t play until next Monday night, so maybe Foreman has a chance to get back in a week, but if not, Khalil Herbert should take over as the lead back again.
Update: Foreman has officially been ruled as questionable to return to today’s game against the Lions
Foreman was slow to get up after being tackled early in the third quarter of this NFC North battle. He slowly walked off the field and was seen entering the blue medical tent for further evaluation.

Not 100% on this one but I think Hutchinson lands on foreman’s right leg from the outside. A common mechanism for a high ankle and/or fibula. Awaiting a better video angle though pic.twitter.com/YjnrSoqdjV
This could potentially be a huge loss for the Bears as they find themselves in a tight one-score game against a division rival in the Lions. Foreman has already made an impact this afternoon, punching in the opening touchdown in the first quarter that put the team up 7-0. Chicago has deployed a handful of rushers already this afternoon with Roschon Johnson, Khalil Herbert, and Justin Fields all recording multiple carries in this contest.
