Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox is undergoing wrist surgery that will likely keep him out for the remainder of the season. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that he did not have an idea of a timeline for return for Knox following the injury.

Fantasy football implications for Week 8
Dalton Kincaid will take over as the starting tight end for the Bills with Knox out. Kincaid has already been excellent this season — in Week 7, he led the team in receiving yards with 75 over eight receptions. Kincaid, a rookie out of Utah who was a first-round pick in 2023, has 25 receptions on 27 targets for 193 yards this season and is absolutely worth adding to your fantasy roster if he is available to claim.
We can expect to see Knox out for the foreseeable future, and after Kincaid’s performance on Sunday, we can expect to see plenty more of him. The Bills face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday of Week 8.
