Mike Williams re-injures ankle, ruled OUT in Week 11 vs. Chiefs

Mike Williams suffered an ankle injury in Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season. Here are the latest updates.

Update: Williams has been ruled out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury.

Update: Williams is questionable to return, but is on the sidelines without his helmet as the Chargers next drive starts.

Update: Mike Williams returned from the medical tent and is now on the bench, per Fernando Ramiriez.


Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams suffered an ankle injury against the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. It appears to be a tweak of the ankle high-ankle sprain he was dealing with over the last few weeks. He has gone into the medical tent for further evaluation.

Williams made a great catch on the sideline, but hurt his ankle as he tried to keep his feet in bounds.
