The league’s most storied rivalry will be renewed on Christmas Day when the Boston Celtics face off against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics are off to a flying start and sit at the top of the Eastern Conference while the Lakers have been unable to turn their In-Season Tournament success into a winning season so far, sitting just two games above .500.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this NBA matchup, you can stream the game with ABC, WatchESPN or via their mobile apps. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ABC for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Celtics are unbeaten at home this season but are 8-6 on the road. They’ve done well recovering from a loss to the Warriors with wins over the Kings and Clippers. Boston will hope to put on another impressive offensive showing in this contest, although this Lakers squad will present a real challenge at home.

The Lakers are 10-3 at home this season behind one of the best defenses in the league. Los Angeles has found a way to shut teams down at Arena, sporting the third best defensive rating at home this season. LeBron James usually shows out for these games and he’ll be tasked with leading the Lakers to another rivalry win in this one.
