It’s Christmas Day in the NBA and the late game features Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks and Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns. We’re going to go over how you can live stream the game.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this NBA matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ESPN for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Mavericks enter Christmas on perhaps the worst stretch of basketball they’ve played all season. Dallas has lost four of the past five games, including losses to top teams the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Still, the Mavs are just inside the top-6 teams, which is good enough to avoid the play-in tournament if the season were to end today. The Western Conference figures to be tight again this season.

Dallas will be without starting PG Kyrie Irving, who has been sidelined since Dec. 8 due to a heel injury. The Mavs have gotten great contributions from G Dante Exum, who is having a renaissance season with Irving out. In the month of December, Exum is averaging 16.6 points per game while shooting 56.3 percent from 3-point range over the past nine games. Doncic is averaging 36 PPG over the nine games in December.

On the injury report, Irving remains sidelined while rookie big Dereck Lively is questionable to play due to an ankle injury. C Maxi Kleber (toe) and SF Josh Green (elbow) are also out.

The Suns are also limping into Christmas Day, struggling in the month of December. Phoenix has lost seven of the past 10 games in the month. The Suns added SG Bradley Beal over the offseason to form a new Big 3 with Durant and Devin Booker. Unfortunately, Beal can’t stay healthy and the trio have only played just over one game together. Beal played vs. the Nets in a loss and lasted 5 minutes in the next game, also a loss, to the Knicks.

On the injury report, Yuta Watanabe and Eric Gordon are both probable to play vs. the Mavs on Monday. Jusuf Nurkic is going to miss the game due to personal reasons while Josh Okogie is probably to play as well. Beal isn’t set to return until at least January. He’s expected to be re-evaluated at the beginning of next month.

The Suns are 4.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook at home. The total is at 238 points, which is second-highest on the slate behind Knicks-Bucks, the early game.
