Is KCP the best value option on Thursday?

TNT will host DAY’s matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks with tip off set for 9:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. If you aren’t around a TV to check out this primetime NBA matchup, you can stream the game on Watch TNT or via their mobile app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription.

If you don’t have a cable login to access TNT for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Lakers are finally getting one of their two superstars back on Thursday night. Anthony Davis (calf) told reporters on Wednesday that he’s planning on playing against the Mavericks. We’ll likely need to see if AD has a designation on the injury report, plus he’ll likely be on a minutes restriction in his first game back. Either way, it’s a good sign for the Lakers, who are in 5th place in the West and are comfortable in that spot.

The Mavericks are not so comfortable in the 7-seed in the West with just a few games on the Memphis Grizzlies in 8th place. The Mavs need to make up some ground to try and avoid the play-in tournament. Dallas trails the Portland Trail Blazers by 0.5 games for 6th place. Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber could both be held out Thursday with injuries, which would make it tough for Dallas down low, particularly with Davis back.
