ESPN will host Wednesday’s matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets, with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. If you aren’t around a TV to check out this primetime NBA matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription.

If you don’t have a cable login to access ESPN for live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Nets are one of the NBA's hottest teams and have won nine of their last 10 games. James Harden and Kyrie Irving have flourished while Kevin Durant has missed time with a hamstring injury, and role players have stepped up as well to help Brooklyn gain a ton of ground in the Eastern Conference. Harden has reached career highs in assists, field goal percentage, and three-point percentage since being traded earlier this year. The Rockets could have a chip on their shoulders ahead of this one because Harden jumped ship earlier in the season. Will the beard elevate his game against his old team?

Houston’s defense improved considerably following Harden’s departure but is currently enduring a 12-game losing streak. Christian Wood (ankle) won’t be back until after the All-Star break, and DeMarcus Cousins has parted ways with the Rockets. Injuries have dealt a major blow to Houston in recent weeks, and John Wall and Victor Oladipo will likely have to be at their best on Wednesday for the Rockets to end their latest slide.
