The Sixers are 4-1 since Embiid sustained his knee injury and 8-1 in their past 9 games. The most notable thing is the Sixers are getting it done in crunch time. They’ve won a couple tough, close games against the New York Knicks, including 101-100 most recently.
The Dubs will be without PG Stephen Curry again as he nurses a bruised tailbone. With Steph sidelined, the Warriors split games against the Memphis Grizzlies over the weekend. Jordan Poole started both games and posted a combined 51 points on 20-36 shooting from the floor. Poole has emerged as a capable scorer off the bench once Steph returns. The Michigan product could be a candidate to make the jump within the next few seasons.
