The Lakers outscored the Indiana Pacers 34-21 in the fourth quarter to help avoid a loss at home on Friday night. It helped L.A. end a two-game skid that started prior to the break. Anthony Davis is expected to be evaluated in two weeks, so around the end of the month. It’s clear the Lakers need AD back in the lineup with Marc Gasol also sidelined. The lack of size gave the team problems against Domantas Sabonis.

The Dubs are coming off a miserably loss to the Clippers coupled with a big win over the Utah Jazz. Stephen Curry turned 33 on Sunday, which was partly the reason for the victory over the Jazz if you think narratives matter. Curry and Andrew Wiggins combined for 60 points against Utah, while Draymond Green had a triple-double. The Dubs will look to carry some of that momentum into a matchup vs. the Lakers.
