ABC will host Saturday’s matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the Golden State Warriors with tip off set for 8:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, and will be nationally broadcast by ESPN. The Nets ended a three-game losing streak with a win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Brooklyn also got some good news on Friday when the team announced Kevin Durant will return from health and safety protocols to play against his former team. Durant missed one week after being pulled from last Friday’s loss to the Raptors in the third quarter. The Nets did, however, rule out C DeAndre Jordan against the Dubs.
The Warriors have won back-to-back games and are still in the hunt for a playoff spot in the West as we approach the mid-way point of the 2020-21 season. Golden State will remain without rookie C James Wiseman, who has been sidelined due to a wrist injury. Juan Toscano-Anderson has been starting with Draymond Green at center for the Dubs. MVP hopeful Stephen Curry has been on a scoring binge lately, averaging 37.8 points per game in February. Best believe Curry will want to show out against his former teammate Durant, plus superstars Kyrie Irving and James Harden.
