The NBA has been postponing games a lot due to health and safety protocols. There’s already been one game postponed for Saturday’s slate and we could see more, so pay attention to the news. The big news from Friday was Timberwolves C Karl-Anthony Towns announcing he has tested positive for Covid-19.
The Miami Heat are expected to get some players back in the lineup after they had to sit due to health and safety protocols. Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo are both questionable after being in quarantine. Tyler Herro is dealing with a neck injury and is also questionable. Jimmy Butler remains sidelined in health and safety protocols.
The other big news from the week was James Harden being traded to the Houston Rockets. Right now, The Beard is being listed as questionable to make his Nets debut on Saturday vs. the Magic. The trade is still pending and Harden may be held out since he won’t be able to get in a practice with his new teammates. Kyrie Irving remains out Saturday as well while he remains in health and safety protocols. Irving can return to team activities Saturday and should be back in the lineup soon.
