Marvin Williams’ NBA career has come to an end after 15 seasons in the pros. The Milwaukee Bucks forward told The Undefeated’s Mark Spears that he’s retiring after his team was eliminated from the 2020 NBA playoffs by the Miami Heat on Tuesday.
Williams, 34, was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the No. 2 pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. After seven seasons with the Hawks, he went on to play for the Utah Jazz and Charlotte Hornets. He was waived by Charlotte in February before getting joining the Milwaukee Bucks.
Williams has career averages of 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
