The NBA regular season has returned with the seeding round beginning on July 30th in the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida. The NBA teams in the bubble will play eight games each to decide seeding for the NBA playoffs, with games running from July 30th to August 14th. A play-in tournament may then be required to decide to final playoff spots. We’ll be adding notable updates throughout the day, including final scores and news.

Here is a list of game for Tuesday, August 4th:

Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 1:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV)
Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings, 2:30 p.m. ET
Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Clippers, 4:00 p.m. ET (NBA TV)
Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers, 6:00 p.m. ET
Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat, 6:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
Houston Rockets vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 9:00 p.m. ET (TNT)

Lineup notes

BKN-MIL — So the Nets are going to look like, well, a pick-up game team. Caris LeVert (rest) and Joe Harris (neck) are both going to sit. I’d make sure to monitor the news early on in the day. The Bucks could opt to rest Giannis Antetokounmpo or Khris Middleton. They also could win this game after the first 5 minutes with Eric Bledsoe potentially coming back.

DAL-SAC — Seth Curry is doubtful to play due to leg soreness. The Mavs have struggled in the bubble at 0-2. So have the Kings. Alen Len is questionable to return to the lineup after being sidelined due to Covid-19. His size would be helpful against Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber down low.

PHX-LAC — The Clippers could get Lou Williams back in the lineup Tuesday. He’s missed the past two games after the infamous Magic City wing run. Montrezl Harrell remains sidelined for L.A.

ORL-IND — This is the first game the Magic will be without Jonathan Isaac since the return. The young forward tore the ACL in his right knee Sunday against the Kings. The Pacers didn’t have Victor Oladipo for their win over the Wizards on Monday. Malcolm Brogdon returned to the lineup, however, and TJ Warren continued his trek toward Bubble MVP.

BOS-MIA — There isn’t much lineup news here. The Celtics and Heat are jockeying for position behind the Bucks and Raptors in the East. Boston can gain even more separation with a 2.5 game lead on Miami already.

HOU-POR — Eric Gordon is expected to remain out Tuesday vs. the Blazers. Portland is only two games back of the Grizzlies for the 8-seed with six games to play. It’s looking like a play-in tournament is on the horizon. That doesn’t concern the 2-0 Rockets, who are getting the best of James Harden and Russell Westbrook with the lineup thin and lacking size.
