The 2020 NBA Playoffs get started on Monday, August 17th. While we should see most lineups at full strength, there will always be notable injuries to cover from game-to-game in each series. Here you’ll be able to find all the latest injury news and updates, plus DFS and betting analysis, for the Miami Heat as they take on the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs.
Miami Heat injury updates
Jae Crowder — knee (Will Play)
Derrick Jones Jr. ankle (Will Play)
Update, Aug. 22 — Crowder and Jones will be available to play in Game 3 vs. the Pacers on Saturday. Crowder will start as he has been through the NBA restart. Crowder ($4,000) is a decent play on DraftKings for some leverage. He has returned value with close to 30 DKFP in back-to-back games. Jones ($3,000) shouldn’t really be on your radar. Miami on the spread is where I’m looking at -5.5 and this only solidifies things.
Update, Aug. 21 — Crowder is being listed as questionable to play in Game 3 vs. the Pacers on Saturday. He was able to play and start in Game 2 on Thursday.
Update, Aug. 20 — Crowder will start in Game 2 vs. the Pacers.

Update, Aug. 18 — Jones is in the lineup and playing in Game 1 vs. the Pacers on Tuesday.
Update, Aug. 17 — Airplane Mode is listed as questionable for Game 1 vs. the Pacers. Both Dragic and Crowder aren’t listed on the injury report for Monday so they’re expected to play in Game 1. Kendrick Nunn will not start and is expected to come off the bench. Crowder should start at SF with Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson starting in the backcourt.
Update, Aug. 16 — Jones did not practice over the weekend and his status is in doubt for Game 1 on Tuesday. Crowder and Dragic are expected to be good for the start of the series. Crowder was able to practice Sunday.
