Kyle Lowry outshines LeBron James, Anthony Davis as Raptors take down Lakers

Kyle Lowry was the star of the night while LeBron James and Anthony Davis failed to rise to the occasion in Saturday’s Lakers-Raptors game.

The Los Angeles Lakers were riding high after their debut bubble win against the Los Angeles Clippers, but their offense was stagnant Saturday as they fell to the Toronto Raptors 107-92. Kyle Lowry led the way for Toronto with a dominant performance while LeBron James and Anthony Davis struggled to get going early.

Toronto set the tone for the game by rattling scoring 13 unanswered points in the first quarter and Lowry was the engine that made the Raptors go. He led all players in DKFP with 63.50 DKFP. He tallied a game-high 33 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 assists in 35 minutes while shooting 8-for-16 from the field. He wasn’t the only productive raptor though, as Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, and OG Anunoby also eclipsed 30 DKFP.

Davis only converted one free throw in the first quarter, He finished the game with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists to tally 36.50 DKFP. He dropped off significantly after leading the Lakers with 49 DKFP against the Clippers. James improved his shooting and tallied 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists for 42.25 DKFP, but that’s down from his season average of 55.6 DKFP.
