What to watch for

Grizzlies vs. Blazers — This is a big game for the seeding round. There’s room for the Grizzlies to get separation from the Blazers and Pelicans, who lost Thursday to the Jazz. If the Blazers can get a W, they’ll put themselves in a good spot to contend against the Grizz only 2.5 games back. Damian Lillard is good to go after dealing with a minor foot injury.

Celtics vs. Bucks — We already have word that Eric Bledsoe and Pat Connaughton won’t play in this game. The Bucks don’t need to do much to seal up the No. 1 overall seed in the East. We could see them take it easy in game one. Kemba Walker is on a minutes restriction for the Celtics, but may be ahead of schedule, per coach Brad Stevens. He may be unleashed early.

Rockets vs. Mavericks — The Rockets are expected to be without SG Eric Gordon due to an ankle injury. He could be out for 1-2 weeks, so that’s looking like potentially the whole seeding round. It may drop the Rockets down in the standings. If the Mavs can get a win, they’ll move a 1.5 back of Houston for the No. 6 seed, which is a big move.
