The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to make a deep run in Orlando, Florida later this month when the NBA resumes play at Disney World, but it won’t be bringing its entire coaching staff. Assistant coach Lionel Hollins was red-flagged as a potential health concern and won’t be able to join the team in Orlando. Head coach Frank Vogel spoke on how frustrating the possibility of not being able to bring all vital personnel to the bubble at Disney world Thursday (via Silver Screen & Roll).

“Honestly, it was fairly miserable trying to place a value on everybody’s contributions. There are several members of our staff that we’re not going to be able to bring into the bubble that, quite frankly, we need in the bubble,” Vogel said.

Hollins, a former NBA champion and head coach with the Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn, joined Frank Vogel’s staff last year. The cause of his red flag has not been made known to the public. The 66-year-old is not being held out for age-related reasons though.
