Bridges, Rubio lead Suns to big win over Raptors in scrimmage

We recap the scrimmage between Toronto and Phoenix from the NBA bubble, providing a quick recap, stats and a few takeaways.

The Phoenix Suns closed out their scrimmage schedule on Tuesday afternoon with a 117-106 win over the Toronto Raptors in the NBA bubble. Mikal Bridges had another huge game and has arguably been the MVP of the scrimmage season. Ricky Rubio also looked solid in the win for Phoenix, which has a long shot to make the playoffs in the West. Still, it’s encouraging if you’re a Suns fan to see the young studs stepping up.

The Raptors also look healthy, which is a plus considering all the injuries they’ve dealt with this season. Toronto got contributions from all around the roster, including Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet. Here are some stats for each team:

Fred VanVleet: 13 points, 3 assists
Kyle Lowry: 11 points, 7 assists
Norman Powell: 14 points, 2 rebounds
