The Memphis Grizzlies kicked off this month’s scheduled scrimmages with an 0-2 record, but bounced back in a big way against the Miami Heat Tuesday. Six Grizzlies reached double digits in points during their third game in the bubble, and Ja Morant’s impressive offensive contributions as a passer and distributor made him stand out from the rest. He and Dillon Brooks eclipsed 20 points en route to a 128-110 win.

Jimmy Butler ran the show for Miami as it dropped to 1-2 ahead of the NBA’s restart on Thursday. He scored half of his 18 points from the free throw line and fed his teammates left and right. Offenses are starting starting to click ahead regular season’s return, and Memphis could hold off the teams fighting to claim the Western Conference’s eighth seed.
