Nets get embarrassed by Pelicans in first scrimmage

Brooklyn is incredibly shorthanded and things may only get worse for the Nets in the bubble. We look at some stats.

We all knew the Brooklyn Nets would struggle to compete inside the bubble without multiple starters. We didn’t think it would be this bad, right? The New Orleans Pelicans — without Zion Williamson and Derrick Favors — demolished the Nets 99-68 in the third scrimmage of Wednesday in the NBA bubble in Orlando. Let’s go over some notable stats for each team:

New Orleans Pelicans stats

Brandon Ingram: 12 points
E’Twaun Moore: 14 points
Nickeil Alexander-Walker: 14 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists

Brooklyn Nets stats
