It looks like more a matter of when than if the NBA will be returning to Walt Disney World in Orlando, and we might even know which properties some of the best athletes in the world will be occupying for the work-cation of a lifetime.
According to DVCNews.com, the Jambo House at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is the only property that can’t be booked through the end of 2020. If you don’t speak I-4 Corridor, DVCNews is an independent site covering all matters related the Disney Vacation Club, the Mouse House’s official timeshare vacation program. There are 15 DVC resorts on property at Walt Disney World, with Jambo House being one of the most luxurious.
You can overlook a modified African savannah filled with wildlife such as giraffes and lions. The level of service is elite, and the food is phenomenal. It’s why this place went #1 in our mock draft of Disney hotels where teams could stay for the restart.
But wait, there’s more! Keith Smith of Yahoo! reports that Coronado Springs is likely to be the primary host resort when the league heads to the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
Per Walt Disney World sources, Disney and the NBA have agreed that Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is likely to be the primary host resort for the NBA when they resume the season. Sources say an agreement may be reached this week, which will allow preparations to move quickly.

Coronado fell to #7 in our mock draft, but having a place with the size and scale available at this resort makes sense. The resort has 1,951 rooms, three pools, a 22-acre lake where you can rent watercraft for leisure, a really good rooftop tapas place that’s terrific for watching the fireworks, and free wi-fi! What more could a 7-foot human that’s not allowed to venture too far ask for??
We’ll keep you abreast of all breaking coverage of the NBA’s return to The Happiest Place on Earth, and maybe even try to get some film of the best hoopers in the world playing Pop-A-Shot at the NBA Experience in Disney Springs. We’re here for the #brand synergy.
