The NBA 2K Players Tournament continues on Thursday with the quarterfinals. The first round finished up on Sunday night with four matchups. The previous four matchups had been completed on Friday night. With the first round in the books, we have the second round set up with a couple of juicy head-to-head games. We had two players go over 100 points on their opponent in the first round: Trae Young and Andre Drummond. Could they be on a collision course to the finals? Let’s take a look:
NBA 2K Players Tournament Quarterfinals TV schedule
(5) Devin Booker vs. (13) Rui Hachimura — 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2
(16) Derrick Jones Jr. vs. (8) Montrezl Harrell — 8 p.m. ET
(2) Trae Young vs. (10) Deandre Ayton — 9 p.m. ET
(6) Andre Drummond vs. (14) Patrick Beverley — 10 p.m. ET
That’s the schedule and each game will be broadcasted on ESPN2. The matches generally last about an hour with a few breaks in between. The night cap stands out as the most intriguing matchup. Both Drummond and Pat Bev demolished their first-round opponents. Beverley is notorious for trash talk and Drummond is a massive human being. This one should be fun. Devin Booker and Trae Young also have some skills with the sticks and are worth keeping an eye on for your pools.
