The Los Angeles Clippers are signing C Joakim Noah to a contract, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday evening. Noah is expected to join the team next week and the deal is reportedly a 10-day contract, per Shams Charania.

Noah is best known for his tenacious defense while playing for the Chicago Bulls from 2007-2016. He won Defensive Player of the Year in 2013-14 and is a two-time All-Star and three-time All-Defensive Team. Noah most recently played for the Memphis Grizzlies last season, posting strong numbers despite limited playing time. He averaged 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in 16 minutes per game.
