Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton had one of his most impressive games ever against the Boston Celtics Wednesday. He set a new career high by scoring 41 points on 17-of-30 shooting in a 112-106.
Sexton was 3-of-9 from beyond the arc and also tallied six rebounds and three assists. This game marked his fourth time scoring at least 28 points in his last five appearances. He’s benefited from Darius Garland’s two-game absence caused by a groin strain and has scored 53 points this week.
Sexton averaging 20.2 points per came in his sophomore season, which leads the Cavaliers. He appears to have the green light, as Cleveland is 17-45 and sits at 15th in the Eastern Conference.
