UPDATE: March 19, 7:50 p.m. Marcus Smart announced on social media that he has tested positive for coronavirus. Here’s his message:

The Boston Celtics have found one player who has tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus, the team announced Thursday evening.

It wasn’t too long ago that the Celtics long-time historic rival the Los Angeles Lakers found two players positive for coronavirus, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania. The Sixers also announced earlier in the day that three members of the organization have tested positive. The Celtics were among one of several teams to have come into contact with the Utah Jazz, including C Rudy Gobert and G Donovan Mitchell, who both tested positive before the NBA shut down.
