Phoenix Suns G Devin Booker has been picked as a replacement for injured PG Damian Lillard at All-Star Weekend in Chicago. Booker will play for Team LeBron and also partake in the 3-Point Contest in place of Dame. Lillard was injured in Wednesday night’s game against the Pelicans, hurting his groin late in the fourth quarter. He was diagnosed with a strain and is going for an MRI on Thursday.

Booker was among one of the All-Star Game snubs after the players were announced a month back. He’s put together another solid season, averaging 26.4 points and 6.3 assists per game in 52 games for the Suns. He’s shooting nearly 50% from the floor and 35.8% from long range. While his 3PT% isn’t too high, his 3PT shot volume has been up there. He’s made 101-of-282 3-pointers this season, on pace to hit a career high.
