The Pacific Division may be the toughest in the entire NBA heading into 2020-21. We could see four teams from this division in the postseason come May with three potential title contenders. You’ve got the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, both whom are paid and signed long-term.

The Los Angeles Clippers brought in Ty Lue to run things behind the bench, but otherwise Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are back motivated to avenge the loss from last postseason. The Golden State Warriors had a down year in their dynasty, but appear ready to get back into things with more depth and youth. The Dubs now have rookie C James Wiseman, newly-acquired wing Kelly Oubre and a healthy Stephen Curry.

The surprise team of the division could be the Phoenix Suns, who dealt for All-Star PG Chris Paul during the offseason. CP3 is added to an already impressive core of Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges. The Suns also brought in veteran forward Jae Crowder and have most of their bench and youth in tact. The Suns may not be title contenders but making it back to the postseason is well in reach.
