The Milwaukee Bucks are back! It took four games but the Bucks finally got their swag back. It came in a historic game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, setting the NBA record for most 3-pointers with 29. There’s still some time left in a game the Bucks ran away with in the first quarter. Right now, the Bucks are up 140-91 on the Heat, a team that defeated them in the second round of the 2020 NBA playoffs over the summer.
Update: Thank god, it’s finally over. This was a bloodbath. Bucks 144, Heat 97. So that’s a 47-point trouncing.
The Bucks entered this game coming off an embarrassing 30-point loss to the New York Knicks a few days ago. People were beginning to question whether or not they were actually title contenders. That’s not entirely true. Instead, the Bucks came out and throttled the Heat in a ridiculous blowout win. So, 12 Bucks players nailed 3-pointers in the game and the ENTIRE BENCH hit at least one 3-pointer.
Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton led the way with 24 and 25 points, respectively. Holiday and Donte DiVincenzo registered the most 3-pointers with 6 and 5, respectively. Again, there’s two minutes left in the game. So theres a chance the Bucks add to the lead and maybe even make this the biggest blowout in NBA history. The Mavericks almost did the same thing to the Clippers on Sunday. We’ve seen a lot of lopsided victories early on in the 2020-21 season.
