The NBA is back for its annual Christmas extravaganza. In 2020, we get five games starting at noon and running until the finale tips at 10:30 p.m. ET. The Miami Heat host the New Orleans Pelicans to tip off the holiday. ESPN will air the contest at 12 p.m. ET.
If you can’t watch this game on TV, you have the option to stream the matchup on WatchESPN or on mobile with the ESPN app, both of which require a cable log-in. If you don’t have cable, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the NBA Christmas schedule.
The game is often a little bit delayed on live streams, but usually it’s only between 30 and 60 seconds behind the TV broadcast. That can impact you if you’re on Twitter during the game, but otherwise it’s an easy option.
The Pelicans won their season opener, beating the Raptors in Tampa 113-99. The Heat dropped their season opener on the road, losing 113-107 to the Orlando Magic. The Heat are a five-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and the point total is installed at 226.5.
