Here’s the Dallas Mavericks schedule for the first half of 2020-21

The NBA will release the first half of its schedule for the upcoming season on Friday. We break down the Mavericks’ schedule, including primetime games.

The NBA will release its schedule for the first half of the 2020-21 season on Friday. NBA teams started training camp on Tuesday with the season set to begin on Dec. 22.

The schedule release is great because it means we know which teams Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are going to embarrass in the first half of the season. Doncic enters his third season in the NBA looking for his first MVP award. He’s tied for the best odds to win the award at +450 on DKSB. This is mostly because of what he did last season as an All-Star and what he did to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round despite a series loss.

The Mavericks had a quiet offseason and free agency. Dallas traded for G Josh Richardson and sent Seth Curry to Philly. The Mavs also drafted guards Tyrell Terry and Josh Green to add some potential talent in the backcourt behind Doncic. But overall, we’re going to see a similar roster to last season. Kristaps Porzingis being healthy is the big key for the Mavs. If his knees can hold up, perhaps the Mavericks have a shot at making it out of the second round of the playoffs.

Here’s the Mavericks schedule:

Odds

NBA Championship: +2200
Western Conference: +1100

Notable National TV Games
