On the fourth night of the NBA preseason, we are set for a six-game slate. The preseason keeps rolling along and we’ve almost one week out of the start of the regular season on Tuesday, Dec. 22. We got the first taste of LaMelo Ball and the Hornets over the weekend and the rookie turned in a very interesting stat line. He didn’t score. He did have 10 rebounds and 4 assists in 16 minutes. Ball is going to be all over the place early on, but will definitely have some triple-double upside if he ever gets the minutes.
The reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo looked in mid-season form on Saturday, scoring 25 points with 10 boards in just 25 minutes against the Mavericks. Jrue Holiday had a modest 4 points, 5 boards and 4 dimes in his Bucks debut. Luka Doncic had 13 points and 4 assists in his preseason debut for Dallas. The two are expected to compete for MVP this season. Below is the schedule for Monday night.
