The Warriors cleared a roster spot on Monday by waiving Marquese Chriss. Lee had been on a two-way deal, but appears to be locking up a spot for the rest of the season and beyond. With injuries to Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and D’Angelo Russell, the Warriors have been lacking in backcourt depth. Lee has stepped up recently, averaging 14.6 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 43.6% from long range over the past 10 games. He’s becoming more of a fantasy basketball option, both in DFS and season-long. Lee is a good option to scoop up off the waiver wire if you haven’t already and now it seems he’s secured a home in Oakland even when Curry and Klay get back into the fold.
