This doesn’t necessarily impact the Celtics’ roster much, but Fall is one of the more prominent prospects and figures in the NBA circuit right now. He’s been playing for the Maine Redclaws of the NBA’s G-League, averaging 15 points and 10.8 rebounds in 24 minutes through six games this season.
Fall most recently made history in a loss to the Memphis Hustle, ripping down 14 offensive rebounds, a Redclaws record. He’s been making enough noise in the G League that I think his injury is noteworthy for deeper keeper leagues. If you’re stashing Fall, this may be a setback but don’t give up the talented prospect. He could make his way into the NBA at some point this season for Boston.
