Per The Athletic’s Jason Quick, Lillard’s back tightened up Friday after he originally said he would play Saturday vs. the Cavaliers, Now the Trail Blazers point guard is claiming he’s a game-time decision for tonight’s matchup. Lillard has missed the past two games because of a back injury, which has opened things up in the rotation. With Hassan Whiteside (hip) expected to be out, the Blazers may be very shorthanded tonight.

Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Portland Trail Blazers point guards

So if Dame is out, I like C.J. McCollum ($8,700) a lot on DraftKings. He’d be a viable cash and tournament play in my eyes against the Cavaliers, given the game could be closer than we’d normally expect. I also mentioned Carmelo Anthony ($5,000) in my values piece earlier. I think if Dame sits, great, more usage for Melo. If Dame returns, Melo would still get usage because he’s Melo, that’s what he does. Plus, he’d be in line for more front court minutes with no Whiteside.
