Rangers lineup: Full batting order, pitcher vs. Astros in Game 7 of ALCS

We break down the Rangers lineup for Monday’s game against the Astros.

Today we get to experience the best thing in sports: Game 7. After losing Game 5 in heartbreaking fashion, the Texas Rangers bounced back last night with a 9-2 win over the Houston Astros to set up tonight’s winner-take-all game with a spot in the World Series on the line. Max Scherzer (13-6, 3.77 ERA in the regular season) will get the ball for the Rangers, while Cristian Javier (10-5, 4.56 ERA) gets the nod for the Astros.

The Astros are -125 moneyline favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Rangers are +105 underdogs. The run total is set at 9.

The Rangers have submitted their lineup ahead of today’s game, so let’s see how they’ll go up against Javier.

Rangers starting lineup, ALCS Game 7, Monday, Oct. 23

After three hits in Game 6, Mitch Garver is back at DH moved up to fifth in the lineup for Bruce Bochy. Evan Carter will once again hit third, with Nathaniel Lowe, Josh Jung and Leody Taveras rounding out the order.
