We have a 15-game slate in the majors on Friday, beginning at 2:20 p.m. ET. There are a lot good matchups happening across the league that will not only have betting but also fantasy implications. Over the course of the day, we will be keeping up to date with the latest injury and lineup news before first pitch between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs.

One of the series that will be worth paying attention to is the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays. The last time these two teams played each other in Buffalo, the Rays were in bad shape and lost 10-straight road games. But they’ve turned things around and have won four straight games heading into tonight’s series opener against the Blue Jays. Alek Manoah (2-0, 2.70) will get the start for Toronto, while the Rays will put Shane McClanahan on the mound (3-3, 4.18). Manoah struck out 10 batters and allowed 3 hits in 7.0 IP in his last outing, which came against Tampa Bay.
