Jeff Hoffman returns from IL

Cincinnati Reds starter Jeff Hoffman will make his first appearance since May 26th as he has been on the injured list with a shoulder injury. In 10 starts prior to the injury, he had a 3-4 record with a 4.61 ERA. He will go up against the New York Mets offense on Wednesday.

Justin Turner leaves Tuesday’s game

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner left Tuesday’s game after being hit in the knee by a pitch. After the game, manager Dave Roberts said he is leaning toward keeping Turner out of the lineup on Wednesday.

J.P. Feyereisen lands on IL

Tampa Bay Rays relief pitcher J.P. Feyereisen has found himself on the injured list on. A key trade piece from the Milwaukee Brewers, Feyereisen has recorded a 2.81 ERA this year in 42 games.

Kris Bryant could be out of lineup

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant left Tuesday’s game with a hamstring injury, and manager David Ross said he likely will not be in the lineup Wednesday.
