What channel Giants vs. Diamondbacks is on and how to watch via live online stream

We go over how you can watch Thursday’s ESPN game between the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks.

ESPN will host Thursday’s matchup between the San Francisco Giants and the Arizona Diamondbacks with first pitch set for 9:40 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Chase Field in Arizona, and will also air on NBCS Bay Area in the Giants market and on Bally Sports Arizona in the Diamondbacks market. Johnny Cueto and Merrill Kelly will start for San Francisco and Arizona, respectively.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this MLB matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ESPN for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Giants and Diamondbacks are opening a four-game series with San Francisco having claimed the first six in the season series. The Giants sit in first place and are 1.5 up on the second-place Dodgers. The Diamondbacks are 29.5 games out of first place.
