ESPN+ will host Tuesday’s matchup between the Chicago Cubs and the San Diego Padres with first pitch set for 10:00 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Petco Park in San Diego, and will also air on Marquee Sports Network in the Cubs market and on Bally Sports San Diego and Bally Deportes San Diego in the Padres market. Zach Davies and Dinelson Lamet will start for Chicago and San Diego, respectively.

In 12 starts this season, Davies is 2-3 with a 4.94 ERA. He had given up one or zero earned runs in five of six starts prior to giving up four runs in 4.1 innings his last time out.
The Padres took the opening game of the series on Monday to improve to 37-25 this season, 1.5 games behind the San Francisco Giants for the top spot in the N.L. West. Lamet appeared in seven games this season including five starts, though he does not go long in his starts. He is 1-0 with a 2.50 ERA and has thrown more than three innings just once, which came in his last time out on June 2nd, a 6-1 loss to the Cubs.
