ESPN will host Monday’s matchup between the Chicago Cubs and the San Diego Padres with first pitch set for 10:10 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Petco Park in San Diego, California, and will also air on Marquee Sports Network in the Cubs market and on Bally Sports San Diego in the Padres market. Adbert Alzolay will be taking the hill for Chicago while Ryan Weathers will get the start for San Deigo.

The Cubs come into this one having won six of their last 10, including a three-game sweep of San Diego last week. Though they do struggle away from home, going just 12-16 outside of Wrigley this season. But the team is getting hot at the right time losing just 10 of their last 30 games overall.
The Padres sit just a couple of games back in the race for the NL West, but they’ve been struggling recently, losing six of their last 10. In the three-game set against Chicago last week, SD was outscored 17-6. Though they do tend to play much better at Petco Park, with a record of 20-12 there this season.
