MLB starting lineup news, injury report for Wednesday, June 30th

We have another full 15-game slate in the majors on Wednesday, beginning at 1:15 p.m. ET. There are a lot good matchups happening across the league that will not only have betting but also fantasy implications. To start the evening slate at 7:05 p.m. ET, we have a lot of good pitchers taking the mound across the mound including Shohei Ohtani. The two-way star player has made his presence felt in the Angels’ first two games against the Yankees, hitting 3 HRs. He will now take the mound and make his 12th start this season. Also, Phillies ace Aaron Nola will be looking for a repeat performance of what he did against the Mets last striking out 10 consecutive batters, when they play the Marlins at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Aaron Judge, Gio Urshela sitting vs. Ohtani, Angels

If you were expecting to play Aaron Judge in DFS tonight, well there’s been a change of plans. Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters that both Judge and Gio Urshela are taking a day off. The power-hitting outfielder could use a day off as he’s played in 75 out of 79 games this season. With no Judge, we will see Miguel Andujar, Brett Gardner, and Clint Frazier in the outfield.

Miguel Rojas back in starting lineup vs. Phillies

Miami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas is back in the lineup for Wednesday night’s game, per manager Don Mattingly. Rojas did not play in Tuesday’s series opener due to an undiscoled illness. This season, the veteran infielder just recently returned from a stint on the IL June 18 and has hit .167/.189/.278 with 1 HR and 5 RBI.
