How to watch Friday, May 28th MLB Network schedule on TV and via live stream

MLB Network is broadcasting three games for out-of-market viewers on May 28th. We break down national and local broadcasting options, how to watch the game via live stream, pitching matchups, and odds.

MLB Network will be broadcasting three games on Friday, May 28 for out-of-market viewers. The schedule includes Reds vs. Cubs at 2:20 p.m. ET, and a showcase of either Braves vs. Mets or Marlins vs. Red Sox at 7:10 p.m. based on your location.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out the MLB Network slate, you can stream the game via MLBNetwork.com, via the MLB app, and through MLB.TV. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription for MLB Network or an MLB.TV subscription. If you don’t have a cable login, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the games.

For local viewing, Reds-Cubs will air on Bally Sports Ohio in the Reds market and Marquee Sports Network in the Cubs market while also streaming at ESPN+. Vladimir Gutierrez and Adbert Alzolay will start for Cincinnati and Chicago, respectively. The Cubs are -186 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook while the Reds are +160 underdogs. The run total is 6.5 with the over slightly juiced at -114.

For local viewing, Braves-Mets will air on Bally Sports South in the Braves market and WPIX in the Mets market. Ian Anderson and Taijuan Walker will start for Atlanta and New York, respectively. The Braves are -155 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook while the Mets are +133 underdogs. The run total is 7, with the under slightly juiced at -118.

For local viewing, Marlins-Red Sox will air on Bally Sports Florida in the Marlins market and NESN in the Red Sox market. Cody Poteet and Martin Perez will start for Miami and Boston, respectively. The Red Sox are -177 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook while the Marlins are +150 underdogs. The run total is 8.5, with the over slightly juiced at -118.
