ESPN will host Monday’s matchup between the New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves with first pitch set for 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, and will air on SNY in the Mets market and on Bally Sports Southeast in the Braves market.

The Mets will turn to Taijuan Walker on the mound, and Max Fried will get the ball for the Braves.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this primetime MLB matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ESPN for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Mets remain in first place of the National League East but dropped to 18-16 after being swept by the Tampa Bay Rays in three games over the weekend. Walker has gotten off to a hot start for the Mets with a 3-1 record and 2.20 ERA in seven starts. He threw seven innings in each of his last two starts and allowed just one earned run over those 14 innings.

Atlanta is two games behind the Mets for third place in the division with a record of 19-21. After getting swept by the Toronto Blue Jays, they took two of three games against the Milwaukee Brewers in their last series. In five starts this season, Fried has a 1-1 record and 6.55 ERA, but he has pitched well since returning from the injured list. He threw a total of 11 innings his last two starts and allowed just two runs combined.
