The Royals are the coldest team in Major League Baseball right now. Kansas City has dropped 8 straight games and have fallen below .500 at 16-17. Luckily, they can get back on track against the bottom of the AL Central in the Tigers. Brady Singer is on the hill for the Royals and has pitched well, just hasn’t gotten any run support. On average in his 6 appearances this season, the Royals scored 2.5 runs per game for Singer.
Detroit remains the worst team in baseball as we head into the second week of May. The Tigers as a team are batting .212 and have scored 111 runs, both rank 28th in the League. Lefty Matthew Boyd has been a bright spot in the rotation but will likely be dealt before the deadline. Boyd has a 2.27 ERA and 0.93 WHIP over 35.2 IP this season.
