The Giants are one of the best teams in the MLB, and they will turn to righthander Anthony DeSclafani, who has gotten off to a fantastic start. In five starts, he has a 2-0 record with a 1.50 ERA and is coming off his best performance of the season. On Monday, he threw a complete game shutout with three hits and a walk with nine strikeouts in a win over the Colorado Rockies.
The Padres are among the most entertaining teams in baseball, and they’ve had several must-watch games already this season. They will give the ball to lefty Blake Snell, who has not picked up a decision in five starts with a 3.92 ERA. In his last time out, he allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks in 5.1 innings of work in a loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
