The Phillies dropped their second straight game in the series to the Braves on Saturday thanks to a big game from reigning NL MVP Freddie Freeman. The Braves All-Star belted a two-run HR and drove in three of the Braves’ five runs in the victory. Atlanta has now won four in a row after starting the season 0-4. They started 2021 winless thanks to this same Phils team, which swept the Braves to start the campaign. Things have changed this series. Matt Moore is on the hill for Philly while Drew Smyly will look for another strong start for Atlanta.
