UPDATE 11:08 a.m.: The Sunday game has also been postponed due to the Covid-19 test, per Jon Heyman. All remaining tests came back negative for the Reds and Pirates, per Heyman.

The Cincinnati Reds series with the Pittsburgh Pirates will be postponed for at least one day following word that a Reds player tested positive for Covid-19. Ken Rosenthal reported the positive test late Friday night, and Reds beat writer Bobby Nightengale reported the postponement on Saturday morning.

Saturday’s game was scheduled for 6:10 p.m. and was going to air on FS1. Trevor Bauer was slated to pitch for the Reds and Steven Brault was to pitch for the Pirates.

The positive test result came up a few hours after the Reds beat the Pirates 8-1 on Friday evening. Contact tracing has begun to figure out necessary quarantining. The status of Sunday’s game has not yet been determined.
