UPDATE 5:46 p.m.: Bob Nightengale is reporting the coach who tested positive has been in isolation and not in contact with the rest of the team. The Saturday doubleheader remains on schedule.

The St. Louis Cardinals are scheduled to face the Chicago White Sox in a three-game series this weekend, but it’s unclear how much of the series will happen. The Friday game between the two teams has been postponed, per reporter Joel Sherman.

The hope is to play a double-header on Saturday and then the third game of the series on Sunday, but Saturday is in question as well. Reporter Jon Heyman is hearing a Cardinals coach tested positive. If he has been isolated from everybody else, the team could potentially play, but we don’t know how quarantining has worked for the Cardinals the past two weeks.

The Cardinals have not played a game since July 29th, and it would be 17 days between games if they get on the field on Saturday.
